Colle Cotte Plane is the third pass on the Assietta ridge route from Sestriere side between Colle Bourget and Monte Genevris / Col Blegier. Colle Cotte Plane follows the local definition of 'colle', i.e. place where the route crosses the ridge. Approaching Colle Cotte Plane actually means descending the gravel road to this cross section.
From Colle Bourget, it is a 3 kilometres ride on the Susa valley side with nice views and meadows dotted with trees. The gravel road is fully rideable.
