Col Blegier is the fourth 'pass' on the Assietta ridge route from Sestriere side between Colle Cotte Plane / Monte Genevris and Colle Lauson. Col Blegier is approached on a few kilometres ride without really climbing. It defies the definition of 'pass' even more than other colle here as one does not really switch slopes.

Col Blegier route offers fine views over the Susa and Chisone valley and back to the Monte Genevris. From the latter, the descending gravel road is pretty rough but feasible with a bike. The ride towards Colle Lauson does not feature any particular challenge for a gravel road.
