This rough route leaves the Bonette road on the north side, on the hairpins not far above Jausiers.
Its very rough to start with but it improves as you get higher - rideable on a road bike but not comfortable!
From the map it looks as though you could follow this route past the lake and up to meet the Bonette just below the col on the southern side.
