A hugely impressive section of road, which forms part of the southern approach to the Col de Turini.

In a masterpiece of scenic engineering, a tiny chapel forms a focal point which can be seen very high up on entering the gorges, and remains in view throughout.

When you finally ride past the chapel you are about halfway up the climb.

Probably best appreciated as a climb, although in high summer it would be a cauldron.
