A pleasant but unspectacular ridge road leading south from the Mortirolo summit, with occasional huge views over one or other of the smoggy valleys on either side.
It is remarkably flat for 10km, before starting the descent towards Aprica. At the main road at Aprica, this road is signed 'Mortirolo' - fully 30km from the pass.
