This is the most easterly 2000m pass in the Alps.|
It's on the Nockalmstrasse, a toll road linking Ebene Reichenau to Kremsbrucke through the Nockberge National Park.
The surface of this toll road (free for bikes, of course) is in excellent condition throughout - it is a 12.5 km. climb from the main Turracherhohe road to the pass.
The Eisentalalm is another pass on the same road, after a dip of about 450m.
