Bourg d'Oisans is a small town in the northern French Alps, not far from Grenoble.
It's the cycling capital of this area, a great place to stay with some very famous climbs nearby, as well as several lesser-known but very scenic roads.
To the right is a list of some of the places that are reachable in a day.
Good bikes can be hired in the town.
It is a popular centre for riders of La Marmotte.
